Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: your name and email when you subscribe to the newsletter; your name, email, and message when you contact us; and your name, email, company, role, and a brief description of your story when you apply to be a guest. If you're selected and recorded as a guest, we also collect and publish the recording itself, as agreed to at that time.

We automatically collect your IP address on form submissions, used only to rate-limit abuse (preventing spam/bot submissions) and never published or sold.

How We Use It

We use this information to evaluate guest applications, respond to inquiries, send the newsletter you've subscribed to, and secure the site against automated abuse. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

Form submissions are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile to filter automated spam — Cloudflare may set its own cookies as part of that check, governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy. Emails (newsletter issues, application confirmations, inquiry notifications) are sent through our email provider and are subject to standard email-delivery data handling. We use no analytics or advertising trackers beyond what's described here.

Cookies

We use only functional cookies: a session cookie for the admin dashboard, and a security token (CSRF) that protects form submissions. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Data Retention & Your Rights

We keep application and inquiry records as long as reasonably useful for our records, and newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time by reaching out via the Contact page.

Recordings

If you're selected as a guest and record an episode with us, that recording may be published across our podcast, video, and social channels, as agreed to during the application process.
